Her tail has 6,000 pennies in three layers, while her torso contains more than 28,000 pennies. With plastic and wire hair, Serena is a creative use of recycled materials, with a somber message: Extinction is Forever. Serena sells for $15,000. A portion of the sales price will be donated to an environmental organization to help build an 'art-official' reef in Jamaica. |
